I've seen a 32 bands graphic equalizer in our sister site, I don't remember the name of that piece of software & I need your help to find it. I don't remember if it was a free release either..., & I guess it would ideal. I've searched it in all possible ways at sister site, no luck :disco:

Tryin' to shape an electric-to-acoustic guitar profile I really would like to try to get rid off some little inadecuate freqs, so one of the essentials big helps could rely on a very focused multiband eq.. I'll try Michelangelo too, but I think (perhaps wrongly) that a graphic eq would be a big "visual" way to find & optimize this profile, which is very promising already.

Before any of you say that's pointless I must left clear that I have not an acoustic guitar, but beyond that I've always dreamed about to jump from the dirtiest furious distorted sound to a big, wide & clean arpeggiated Jumbo acoustic in just a click triggered from a floor midi controller (on stage). I'm surprised by the current state of the profile, I feel that i've not found nothing like this already done over here and there ...but it could be that I'm probably delirious from a significant degree of deafness too (?):(

I'll share it with all of you once more or less achieved, & obviously opened to every kind of knowledge contributions & improvements.

Now that you mention it: in these days of parametric eq's with almost unlimited numbers of bands, you don't see these 32 bands eq's much any more.
    1. you could try a parametric eq and pick the bands that are chosen by old 32 band EQ's and than try to vary the bandwith.
    2. I found a couple of old ones, but these are old, very old: 2006-2012. Probably better is the proposed version of @xorome.

Voxengo does a nice graphic EQ but it's only 16 bands. You might try that because it's a really nice one, but apart from that I can't help, sorry.

Red Rock Sound EQ302 is a 32 band graphic equaliser offering 12 dB of cut or boost in 1/3 octave steps between the frequencies of 16 Hz and 20 kHz.

This is which I referred to, thx a lot @xerome!, anyway I'll obviously try by the parametriq ones that as @Rybrambo & @paul_audioz suggested. A parametriq multiband compressor in the experimental chain will be surely added too.

The 32 band above looks great. But I have been looking for something, maybe with 16. There is one in Logic's Vintage EQ's, and that ThreeBodyTech Modern G-31 is one of the couple that won't work for me. They are not something that is going to replace my real daily driver eq's, but these slider bands were "very important" for house music and techno djs. The amount of mileage they could get with one record was part of the sound, so I have been thinking of using one with some ridiculous amount of automations.

this will work perfectly for it. It would be nice if you could shit+select or selection tool to grab multiple bands, but it's great anyway. thanks :)

@clone , @Will Kweks , yeah,we have a lot of choices, several are great ones, of course. I was tryin' with some of those u've named & the acoustic converter seems start to shine. The 32bands target obeyd more to "see" while "hear" than the final eq really present in the chain once those inadequate freqs has been found (I guess The One will be Michelangelo).

I know I'm veering offtopic, apologies, but I've noticed that I'm using filter banks quite a lot for this purpose. They're not exact but the charm of using them as subtractive EQ is something else. Audio Damage's now discontinued (and free) Moog 714 clone is great and the automatable one in VCV Rack/Cardinal is a gem (14 bands, 14 CVs).

It's like painting with watercolor instead of using a sharp pen.

Not off-topic at all, relevant, actually. Look I'm absolutely obsessed about to get a really serious acoustic guitar aproach from my electric one, is very possible that I'm again on a new dead road...., but for now it seems that there are chances. I'll try those filters & I'll search if it's possible to use that Moog VCV if there's a remote way to.
