Its presonus 4.5 studio one expert slipped up and released the video yesterday it was 30 minutes long and they only touched on some things they said they had to make other videos because some fearures are so indepth but its been takin down now theres 70 new features new plugin manager new midi stuff colors scale options new input section theres tons of new stuff

 

Errr mah god! For what it's worth a mix knob feature and gain matching would be so awesome right now. Maybe internal 32bit bridging too. The 32bit bridging is something alot of people want in their DAWs. I think at the very least, gain matching is a much needed feature. Super excited to see what my favourite DAW for mixing is going to do next nonetheless. Can't wait till tomorrow.

The cpu performance is way better.. even with 3rd party plugins. It now has true track/channel groups. It has zero-crossings snap. The waveform display and expanded editor have detailed precision. There are several new MIDI features. New quantize features. More advanced macro toolbar and options. Pre-fader metering. RMS metering. New sidechain option. Input gain controls on all channels. And the list goes on..

 

I feel bad for pro tools ultimate users.

 

Since v4.1.X I can't even think on a better DAW balance when it comes to features and productivity (incredibly easy of use) vs speed and resource usage. It really sits on a very sweet spot attractive for many users.

 

They said its up to 70 percebt better cpu then 4.1.from that video its an awesome update

 

I don't have to wait for R2R, I can update tomorrow immediately.
Why? Because I bought the DAW when it was cheaper.
I had to save money for that, but Studio One is a good DAW and Presonus is a good company.

I hope they update that damn nudge feature. I hope we can specify nudge value by samples inside the DAW again instead of editing with notepad.

 

Not sure CPU performance is better with third party plugins, in changelog it only says it is better with third party plugins in multi-instrument mode. Let’s hope it is though.

Ok guys. Chill out. We don't have to wait for Presonus. We have to wait for R2R. They might release the new version before Presonus! Haha.

 

I am from Germany and I have 700 Euro a month, that's not much here (I hate Mrs. Merkel.)
I pay 330 Euro rent, about 50 Euro electricity and 40 Euro internet.
If I want something, I have to save longer. I bought Studio One after a long test because I like to use it every day. Support the manufacturers if it is possible for you. That's what I'm saying
