They will shake the industry if it's Studio One 5 with surround/atmos support and all advanced feature that exists in Cubase and Pro Tools but with a GUI that I can look at without gouging my eyes out.

I think it's Studio One 5. Last year, May 22, 2018, Studio One 4 was announced.

Didn't they have a two year release cycle for big version steps though?

I logged in to YouTube and saw the notification that studio one expert uploaded a video called everything you need to know about studio one 4.5 but when i clicked the video was unavailable !! So the mystery is pretty much solved.

  9. I'm prepared to buy that. I just wonder why Presonus are doing such a marketing strip tease over it. They've done something that they want people outside the ranch to hear about. I'm sticking with multi-core as the most likely bet. Netflix integration or whatever it is isn't that big. Sorry but it just isn't.

Thank you for the info, that is interesting. I'd be interested to know how he got the information so early. I'm guessing Presonus is teaming up with well known YouTubers and allowing them to get their hands on pre release versions.

Almost every company thinks each and every one of their customer is a millennial hipster. Hence, this guerilla marketing. I have never seen a company not pander to their audience like a child.

Maybe but I have not seen any evidence of this. So far only Studio One Expert channel has a video dedicated to this release.
