2012 Mini user looking to jump to a Studio or Mini

    Now I'm getting confused again, lol. I looked up the 12 core max that comes with the new Studio and it''s 8 performance cores + 4 efficiency. And as you say the 10 core M1 has same 8 less 2 eficiency.

    Wondering, at least as far as daw performance goes, the M1 max is gonna be about the same as the M2 max then.
    Go refurb or not. My head hurts, lol.

    you'll need to research how exactly your specific DAW version performs on various Mac configs, and with which specific plugins you'd use

    Interesting video, so yeah, if you are Logic and Live user, go for more performance cores.
