Already emailed Anderton's to see if their version will work on 120v North American power supply.
No doubt it'll be months before anyone else has it for sale.
Love my Tonex pedal but with the F/X this could be a Tonex killer.
Update: had to order thru Kemper for a proper power supply.
We'll see how long Santa takes to deliver it.
Ho, ho. ho...

Kemper Player FULL DEMO

 

Am thinking about getting a Radial guitar signal splitter and running the Tonex pedal and Kemper pedal simultaneously either L/R into PA speakers or dual stereo into a mixer.
So grateful to be in a time like this, especially at my age

Got an email from Kemper, it's supposed to arrive Monday
Studying the manual, hopefully my old Ensoniq CVP-1 expression pedal will work with it.
Kemper wants $233 Cdn for their expression pedal
Any Kemper owners here buy the pedal?

It arrived Monday.
Sounds fantastic, like real tube amps.
The f/x sound great, too.
A completely different sound from the Tonex pedal, but together they will level brick walls.
Looking at ditching my Headrush MX-5 before people realize it's irrelevant.
Wanted to print out the Profiler pedal manual to read on the crapper, but it's 167 pages!
That's one long crap.
Loaded the Rig Manager app on my Android phone.
It only worked with music playback with first pairing but after a second pairing including scanning the QR code at the base of the pedal the app connected for full control of the pedal.
Just got an email from Sweetwater saying my Behringer Kobol module just shipped.
My poor old senior's brain is exploding with too much information.

 

Sometimes loses contact with cellphone app a few times before a solid connection.
I programmed 2 f/x into a program and saved it but though they were visibly on they didn't sound.
After switching programs a few times I got them back.
Bugs, anyone...
Supposed to connect from cell phone device list but I find I need to scan the QR code at the base of the pedal to connect.
Will take a photo of the QR code, print it out, and paste it to my wall so I don't have to keep flipping the pedal over.
Some of the f/x are skimpy: for pitch you only get an octaver, no two lane pitch shifter.
Don't know if you can buy extra f/x for this thing yet.
Sounds great and am playing lots, I guess that's what counts.
Looking forward to what IK has in mind for their new Tonex pedal at NAMM in another week or so...

 

Lost cellphone connection completely last night and sent an email to Kemper support.
Managed to connect it to my W10 computer with the Rig Manager software although it wouldn't connect thru the blue USB ports, only the red one.
There was an OS update for the pedal in the software and I hoped it would fix my Android phone connection but no luck.
At least it works through the computer but I don't want to spend all my time with the pedal hooked to it.
With the cellphone app you have mobility and with my Shure wireless system it allows me complete freedom of movement.
This is the downside of being the first one on your block to own new gear.
I am a guinea pig, an unpaid beta tester and a new PITA for Kemper support

 

Kemper support came thru and I was told to set up the wireless connection for the phone app in the Windows version of Rig Manager.
Once I typed in and saved my router name and password my phone connected.
My Behringer Kobol just arrived from Sweetwater and now I can work on that.
