Oh yea i forgot to ask. I have 2 versions of Kontakt. I have Kontakt 7.10 Rev Bob Dule and Kontakt 8 Bob Dule. Do I need both? Will some libraries not work on 8?

 

you can use any location on multiple drives. (assign a letter)
even network drive from another computer, if the network drives are mounted in your system. it will load slower but it also works.

the latest library out is minimum 8.2.1.
the last version 8.3.0 can play all
older versions will not load new products. using the new effects added in kontakt.

for the xml, use right clic, save as to download it.
you can also open native access (if installed) to update it.

Thanks, so my last question. I load one folder and it recongnizes it, if I load another folder then it will only recognized that folder in partciular correct? Meaning if I load a new folder where my more kontakt libraries are stored then the ones that were previously recognized arent anymore and my my banks will only that folder correct?

 

As the legend himself stated The Bob Dule version can recognise libraries in multiple locations.
But if you move a earlier recognised library to a new location it automatically register the renewed pathway without any problem.
But if you delete it then it will show up as missing library. You will need to delete that library from the registry
