Hi everybody. I am on win 7 64bit and i cant get these both plugins to activate. I did everything but noithing helped.
I deinstalled everything of 112db. Went to regedit and made search of anything releated "112db".
And I also deleted everything on folders and files relating 112db. Then did a fresh install of both compressor and limiter and patched them according to redme-file and created a licence file and activated them both with this licence file. It wanted me to restart my daw. I did it but then it says that this is an invalid licence file.

Whyt do i am wrong?

any help would be appreciated.

 

Please try to be descriptive in your title. Something such as Installation issues or activation problems and the title name to make things easier for the next guy...or gal.

I don't know man, I installed the bundle just last night and it was easy peasy after reading and following the included instructions. Install > Patch > Generate License > Run Plug-in > Locate Saved License > Relaunch DAW > Working.

run your daw as admin and turn off user account control in windows are the first things that come to mind.
as they help with activating most picky plugins

 

1. Install PlugIn
2. Dont run your DAW because otherwise the access to it is blocked and KeyGen/Patch isnt able to modify the DLL!
3. Run KeyGen/Patch as Admin and choose the correct plugIn to patch.
4. Patch the plugin (make sure you patch all the plugin versions you want to use x86 x64 VST or AAX) for example (C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\112dB\Big Blue Compressor.dll). Make sure KeyGen/Patch says "patched successfull"
5. Generate a license XML
6. Start your DAW and select the Plugin. Load the license file (XML you generated)
7. Close DAW and restart. You are done!

Thnx for your answers Audioplg and Lukehh. I run my machine allways as administrator. I dont have user account control activated ever.
Yes i run the install and activation like you lukehh. Just blue comp and blue limiter it says that the licence file is not legal. other 112db plugins are running well.
ANd as i have read on audioz, one or two guys had also the same problem as me. I also tried to install them without being connected to the internet. Nothing helped.

I dont know, but i think that the new protection is more trickier than R2R believes, and it could be causing timebombs after a while. Just a theory.

PS. By the way: I am not a total noob. I do with computers for 25 years. And i dl and activate wares-apps also for 10 years. So i know what to do (most of the time....i think......somehow :D ).

When i ask such questions or beg for help on forums etc. i just want to make myself clear if i forgot something. Or maybe the infos i give could help other people and/or crackers for the development.

Yep.


As i said. The other plugins work so far. But only The Blue Compressor and the Blue Limiter have problems. Really strange, because just few of us have these problems with activating these both plugins. Others dont have.

 

To know if it's really patched. Download demo from site, must be same version.
Install, take the cracked one and demo one. Hexcompare if you know how to.
If not, just take md5 or sha1 of both files. If same -> not patched.

Re your "Just a theory."
It's wrong. And FYI R2R was working on what you call "new protection"
(not really new actually, 2years more or less) for months/almost a year so is very unlikely they got it wrong.
Anyway, this stuff have no other timebombs,
let alone those bombs that USERS might cause by using plugs online and not properly firewalled.
