Doesn't sound too good to my ears. You can probably set HQ somewhere, depending on the speed.

Schade, I tried to fix it now. It's really loud, I know that.
Been working on a "Universal ReMastering Chain" for this project, that accepts all genres.

Now I believe www.ö.fm provides the most balanced, yet bassy audio out there..

I will make this into a logbook of our progress. The goal is to revolutionize streamed audio.
As you can hear now, www.ö.fm has balanced, yet more bassy audio than conventional.
    Thank you for input.

UPDATE: I've bumped up the audio quality quite a notch today,
    no clipping and very 3D'ish.

I think I've made some great progress, got to play www.ö.fm on a really phat concert system yesterday and had to get rid of some ATMOS bass, now it's more balanced. Looking forward to input.

    Streaming as I write this.

Sorry, it sounds terrible. Totally overprocessed and unbalanced with boosted low and high end, also very bad lossy compression artifacts.

Step 1: switch off that horrible bass processing
Step 2: switch off that horrible loudness processing
Step 3: be so kind and use higher quality audio

    My medium: studio monitors

I gotta agree with the above couple of posters, this is far from "revolutionary" - massively hyped in the low end, tinny top end, overcompressed, and lacking in any kind of punch or impact. It's managing to sound both far too bassy, and tinny at the same time. Kinda like listening to music on your neighbours terrible stereo through the wall.

It also sounds significantly quieter & smaller than the original tracks being played. Just slamming rms level doesn't make something 'loud'

Billie Eilish's "Happier Than Ever" was playing when I started listening - a track I'm very familiar with, and own the lossless album it's taken from, and this stream sounded nothing like the original.

What have you got against midrange and dynamics?

Listening medium: Calibrated Neumann system with sub, in a treated mix room.

Edit: Are you also using some kind of widening process? Everything sounds slightly out of phase, and when I sum to mono the top end goes weird(er).

    1) Point me in the right direction for Bass Management, please.
I am using pretty sophisticated software for this. :)

    2) Same..

    3) Spotify as of now, unfortunately.

I listened and tried to remake the chain today, and it should be clearer with more crisp highs.
I'm not satisfied yet, of course.. until we all are ;P
Thank you for your input, www.Ö.FM gets better every day :)

I'm currently streaming, and now I'm trying intentional digital clipping, an area I'm very interested in.
Perfect Digital Clipping, is it possible?

You're streaming songs which are already mixed and mastered, right? So if your mastering skills are not superior to those who have already mastered these songs (for streaming) the best processing is simply none at all.

And whether you're using sophisticated software or not, doesn't matter. What matters is the way you're using it.

If you want to loudness align the different songs, the Golden Rule is, as much as necessary but as less as possible.

Digital clipping? Aha. So you're desperate to change the sounds of the mastered songs, right?

    Thanks for the reply.
Yes I am :) I got a phat system at home but I was a bit put off that they didn't deliver an "epic" sound from the get go. I think that currently the stream is pretty okay for being totally in clipping territory, or what do you think?

Once I also unlocked the DTS-curve :3 It's not a wave, but more like a fat sausage that barely moves, just tilts... <3

Show us on the doll where music hurt you. Cos you're clearly on a mission for revenge against it.

Judging by the results, not if you're doing the clipping, no.

This is literally the worst sounding stream I've heard since the late 90's.

If this is trolling, it's actually pretty funny.

If you're serious, you need to get yourself a referral to an ENT specialist, like, today.

I'm hearing a lot of very boomy, distorted and phase-y bass and then a lot of compression causing a lot of pumping and breathing. Also the high end is ridiculously overhyped to the point of being distorted.

So no, it's not for me.
