sound like a korg M1 to me too but indeed lots of late 80's/early 90's romplers got this "oh-ah" stuff
Right now I think of the Hydrasynth desktop, versatile good sounding synth with great interface
the "best" is indeed very sugestive otherwise vital allows you to make supersaws in 3 clicks. and it's free
