Major difference : R2R patch doesnt modify the .exe and should be used with future versions of the original exe, that's a big bonus.

I'm using Defender / Win 11 / Live 12 R2R, no problem. File is in the whitelist, folder is in the whitelist, Defender doesnt bother anymore.

Probably not, Arturia's VST model is based on TAE their own engine. That way it's easier to collect all models under a unique VST like Analog Lab.
