The CSV way really is the best. It's easy to filter the entries for instance so you're not needlessly importing all the crap that's in there...
Ok so my suspicions were correct. The models are stored in the library.db file itself, and probably similarly described in the preset files....
Some interesting info I got on another forum is that the library.db is actually an SQLite file. You can open and edit this file in SQLite browser....
