Running this OS at the very moment, no big of a deal, i do a lot of mixing, and i can't seem to gain anything by updating, quite the other way...
3rd Party presets are usually the best... it is rare that a factory bank would actually sound good, we saw that with the first few Factory banks...

Test each ram, in each slot by themselves, then two by two again, try every possible scenario, and see if it is either a bad slot or a bad ram...
Take them out. Replace Slots. Reset Bios. Should be Fixed.
