so with safe headroom enable i can move the volume up to -8.1 with it disabled i can put up to 0.0 so i put it up to zero correct? now its 2.2...

i have just noticed,on the right hand side of interface,beside the in and out level meters the volume bar is down at -15.

my output on master is almost 12db quieter when i use the profile for my headphones compared to if i bypass sound id. does that seem right?
