Sorry, but just to check, because I've seen you say this new phrase twice now: it's pre-FADER, and post-FADER, yeah? Like, it sounds like you...
Not really, no. And you don't need to tag me, thanks. It was @ryck 's thread; he knew exactly what was going on. And now he's left the site.
As I said above, a Gain plugin is your friend. You could use it before the plugin you refer to. I don't think there is an easier way to do this...
+1 to this. A lot of plugs have a sweet spot for their input stage, and only there can you see what the plug is supposed to do/sound like.
Yep. Nan BS again. She's pissing me off, that Nan!
TL;DR! But as others have probably said, in the digital domain it's all backwards compared to the analogue days, and we don't need to run...
@Trurl Cool. Maybe I should check it out again. I'm surprised. So, you are the dev, right? lol. jk.

Sorry @Trurl! Are you the GSi dev? I didn't mean to offend you.
And I thought I was being (vaguely) helpful to not just do an Olymoon type of response to the op's post, but to add my (14 years of Kontakt usage)...
? I'm confused. What is this thread about? @famouslut You link to an article about a dinosaur. How does that relate to your thread title?
I have 5,8 & 9. But only really use 5 now, if at all. Got 5 when it came out, kind of liked it, but it felt strange to be using one manufacturer...
Listen kid. If one of our beloved administrators had got to you first, you would have been told to search for yourself, without any helpful advice...
...is an English translation of a Greek word that's pretty much the same length? So yeah; at least in English we didn't make stupidly long words,...
Yeah. All of this you wish for with Kontakt will most certainly help you create music more effectively.
Sooo true!
That's what you think. Incorrectly. Yes; you can have as many standalone versions of Kontakt as you wish, providing you rename them (usually...
Separate names with a comma.
