I was unaware that the wavestation was from Dave Smith. Another gem.
He was the inventor, among many synths, of the Prophet. He was also the creator of the MIDI standard in 1981....
Interesting that they would release an emulation of the MS-20 when Korg already released its own. The same goes for the Roland synths by the way.
Maybe not but according to the demo I heard, it's very close and I'm not sure one could hear the difference in a mix.
Don't let the price or the file size fool you: They do have some real pearls that have nothing to worry from Arturia and/or Roland (among others)....
An interesting point but ultimately it doesn't matter: If it's indeed time bombed, we will know soon enough and will get back to the DAW we were...
