Perhaps a dumb question, but is there any reason Seagate (and Western Digital iirc in some of my experiences), use these custom or whatnot...
avoid paradigmatic presets (back in the later 80's: digitalnativedance or fantasia from the d50 anyone?) and trope fx... etc.... find a way to get...
Well that sucks, as I have legit NI stuff, and I usually will use a K'd version of Kontakt etc in another VST folder designated for Ableton...
guy should have suffered more if the charges are true. took the easy way out for what he did to countless lives.
You know what? I'm on osx, and I have never found anything that I "trust" with it to do so, and it sucks , and it probably why my boot drives...
if the files were downloaded correctly, in all these years I have never had a problem with Keka.

They aren't overrated. I use the VXT8's a lot, as well as others, and they haven't lied to me in translation on other systems or speakers....

I don't remember scsi cables being THAT expensive, and I used them from 91 or so... they weren't CHEAP (~the cost of say a thunderbolt cable),...
sorry, trying to remember, iirc, actually having the sampler and scsi device on first and THEN powering up PC was the way it worked... damn......
If i remember correctly, you should be fine with the Akai's... I don't remember a lot of termination issues with them via scsi (unlike my cpu...
