I think they have made tremendous strides. The next improvement is to buy a real piano, cos all modelled/sampled pianos deliver their sound...

It took Pianoteq a few goes to get it right, so perfecting the process is fairly new. The question is how good are IK Multimedia at implementing...
Pianoteq have nailed the physically modelled piano sound, so the technology is there :wink:

Some good options there, although the Maschine Mk2 does have improved pads. In a shootout Akai MPD 226 v Korg PadKontrol which has the better pads?
I bought a used Maschine as a controller for Geist, but I've since learned that the Maschine is well supported around these parts for those who...
