Got a couple of vintage synths here, but I rarely use them. Soft Synths such as Diva, OP-X Pro II, Omnisphere and TAL-U-NO-LX are good enough....

For the D chord try alternating the A note (5th fret) on the high E string, with the F# note (2nd fret). Also play around with the Em7 voicings...
