To me it sounds good. But I think you can accomplish it with other plugins. Sounds like a little upward expansion, Harmonizing, delay and flange....
Guitar Rig and amplitude are good. I play real guitar. I have not had any issues with either. My main one to go to is Guitar rig.

Yes true but the Reapers GUI is not as pretty as Cubase. What you are missing is that the pretty GUI makes it sound better.
