I use rapid methods to develop new ideas and my focus is on the melody and harmony notes, not musical instruments. The arranging comes afterwards,...
For songwriting, the same way as I use Scaler. I chart my music after I have generated a new idea.
I mean you can't go from a standard to non-standard tuning using a capo, you can only change the key, but with software you could do it.
A capo doesn't work for non-standard tunings. If the software can do it, then it should be fun to play around with, sort of like Scaler for guitars.
It seemed like a good idea in her bedroom :)
