only one thing worse than overly saturated distorted vocals... autotuned vocals. (i'd much prefer natural out of tune vocals to that any day)...

Try downloading a version of Waves that has the old patch .pkg in it. Try running the "patch" file on your current waves RET install. That worked...
Thousands of presets and support files are going to slow it down.
raw emotion is a human thing.
try removing the paths in the settings and re-entering them and let it rebuild maybe. Also make sure the content is actually there in that path.
Tried that on an EZ3 plain Rock product and made it 3.0.6 like EZ3, but it still wouldn't work.
