hello again to me this sounds like its going nowhere and as Kinghtsurfer said the distortion is a bit too much try to make the build up more...
Great one the only thing i can say is make the snare sit better in the mix. to me it sounds isolated i don't know why, mabe add a bit of reverb ?...
for a starter no DAW is ever going to inspire you, maybe a new Vst with some exciting sounds can do more of that. anyway what i'm trying to say is...
