    i take it then i should have permission to access documents+settings, not via users - me - documents, but @ c:\documents and settings

    yes, its kind of what i want, but there are so many cool vsts too. rhythmic modulation ones, weird ones. i have a Line6 pod hd 500, hardware unit.
