Have you tried BX/UAD Ampeg amps for bass? They are very versatile with the built-in IR chains.
The value of the Kemper is in the profiles not the hardware, although it's nice to have the offline processing power I mostly operate it through...
Kemper and Helix Native, plus Ampeg for bass. I also like Bassdude for jammin' new ideas, but I think that's the Nembrini guy who programmed it?
