Sometimes i get this issue "Terminate Vst" after installing a new plugin, sterday this happened with EZDrummer 3, problem was i only installed...
Don't depend on the manual alone, Just think of rapid composer as a Daw that has a chord track, but with named notes with scale relative notes...

Open Notepad as Administrator from the start menu, then inside notepad click file => open ( or just Ctrl+o) and navigate to the location of host...
