hey @Olymoon I know this thread marked solved and all, but just check "enable input for control messages" is enabled under Reaper preferences...

U dont have to change the input to midi, keep as is Stereo or mono, it receives midi when u right click on parameter which is a knob and click learn.
U can pretty much right click on any thing, and click learn and just twist the knobs on ur controller, the track doesn't even have to armed.
