works like a charm with studio one, instant access of the volume pan of the current track and 2 clicks away to tempoary controll any plugin...
I am not only doung DAW stuff... until then I prefer Intel . I try to reduce moving parts not add them.

another side effect might be that developers jump the ship and stop developing for macOS since teh transition and rewrite is simply not economic....
Years ago I had a Hardware Only Studio , even the sequecner was a Roland MV8000. Tons of cables , alot of heat , alot of space . Shitty pots...
I doubt that they do the transition because of hackintoshes. They rather want more control and more money.

Sample One and ImpaktXT are very nice integrated in StudioOne. You can drag and drop even midi regions to them and it will automatically render...
