Luckily it is quite easy to install macOS on regular PC Hardware. I use both Windows and macOS. Some stuff simply do not work as good under macOS...
I think I had it working some time ago (i have now a legit license), make sure to block the presonus server's at router level.
Try both and decide youself, both have strenghts and weakness

The fonts of StudioOne are so tiny even on a normal resolution. The best way to deal with it is to just scale windows to 125% or even higher. But...
