the program crashing has most likely caused the folder to become corrupt, most likely reading/writing to it when maschine threw a wobbly not sure...
did you select offline activation?
right click keygen select "run as admin" also ensure any anti virus is switched off
is this the beta version of presswork you have?, try changing the date back a couple of months on the PC/Mac
that is correct external USB caddies (I have one and access my old HDDs), if you have access to USB3 on you motherboard, use that, a lot faster...
easiest way, buy a new HDD for the computer and then get an external HDD caddy so you can plug in your old drives if you need to pull any data...
