IMHO...... Next to L Bus, Sand sounds like the more modern XLogic bus comp.... L Bus sounds like a G384 or 4000 bus comp.
You'll want to severely limit using algorithmic plugins on the top end as they get harsh quickly IMHO. Algo plugs work well in the mid range but...

Check the mix in mono and when the low end feels right with the whole track in mono, you are there...... also if the bass hurts your ears turn...
