Switching from PC to Mac depends on your software too. It's not easy to get the same software you currently use on PC and start from scratch on Mac.
Maybe the latest release of the plugins will load with old projects as far as plugins have the same name ? Eg. MaxxBass v9 is still MaxBass in V13...
