Technically it's not gain staging as much as it's level matching. Which I hardly ever see anyone doing in their tutorials. So I don't believe it...
FL studio is the only DAW I haven't got into, the workflow is just a bit foreign to me. I'm sure if I sat down and worked at it I would find it...
