I use Microsoft Defender and scan once a month with Malwarebytes and haven't had problems from 8 years, but only install R2R stuff. :wink::headbang:

I don't know I've never had problems with releases from R2R. P.S. Probably because I follow the instructions of R2R.
To avoid problems, it is better to do this manually.
