This is a so classical advise and many people talked about that before too, the VST plug-in or library that you are using is realistic or not...
I already know know they are DAW specific but it doesn't matter as i said there, you can even share your own NI Kontakt patches, your custom...

@on kontakt virtual keyboard, if you hit the bottom of the key , you play full velocity, and , of course, is you hit the top of the key you play...
I use Cubase (usually) and it is always set to 0. I don't change it.
Thanks for the reply and i'll try it. BTW my keyboard is velocity-sensitive but there isn't any setting (like button) about that on keyboard.
Do you mean velocity curve (as an example in piano libraries) by "adjustable setting on the UI"?

Waves JPP Strings is very cool, if he/she is looking for a good plug-in (to enhance sound) for strings.
There are a lots of.. and i have some mixer presets too for strings but unfortunately people are not interested in my topic....

There are more alternatives as plug-in too but list will be too long if i write all of them :) There are also cool soundfont files. I think...
In addition to the libraries here, i can suggest NI Session Strings, Action Strings, 8Dio Adagio, Solo Violin, Big Fish Audio London Solo Strings...
