Just chiming in to say that strangely XILS V worked for me as a vocoder just in VST2 one LOL and I couldn't make it work with VST3 And 201 bled...
Perhaps it can be done in less convoluted way but in my current workflow, I'd export that midi clip from Piano Roll and save the instrument chain...
