Studio One has built in one, and most modern daws too
new Ampire is unusable for me, takes 20% of cpu, when others (TH-U, GuitarRig) take only 3%
Try Spire , factory bank "LD Plain" preset, or The legend , ->leads-> "Brassic"
I have AMD X4 740 (same family as yours) and lexicon alpha interface (very basic) i have no problems with latency in Studio One, playing guitar...
So like all other daws, s1 becomes more and more bloated, all features that i dont use (score, live) will stll use more memory and some cpu
