It sounds like you checked "Generic editor" in the top right corner. Uncheck it if you did.
Move the file out of its own folder. Put it in the VST / VST3 folder directly. See if it fix your problem.

AG should reconnect the server automatically. You can also add the ip address of your server, 192.168.xxx.xxx manually.
