i'd go with the 770's . the m50's are a more for listening/ dj use. the 770's are more flat. id look into some sennheisers though
pitch and mod wheel working fine on FL Studio 20 for me. did you remap the pitch n mod wheel again and save/ replace the "default" template . so...
you can use plugins to give it that "phat" or "ooomph" i'm thinking you want, but it's all really in the mixing if you want it properly done...
