NAM is unbeatable once you know how to use it properly. I get that it can also sound like crap, but that is mostly user error.

Check out NAM for home recording, the touch and feel is really nice when setup properly.
My current setup is a NAM drive pedal capture into a NAM amp captuture (with optional gain plugin up front), followed by time based fx and Pulse 2...
