Today is a good day to remember Aaron, Aaron Hillel Swartz (November 8, 1986 – January 11, 2013) Programmer, writer, political organizer, Internet Hacktivist "committed suicide" after he was harassed by the system. He died at age 27. He founded the online group Demand Progress, known for its campaign against SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and he have done a lot more for our freedom. Rest in peace with all our respect.
I remember when I first read the story about his death. The overzealous prosecution snuffed out a life for downloading academic journal articles from JSTOR. Human beings are a disease.
when i first saw the docufilm the made for him really i cried... it's incredible how can the system be so rude so fucking inhuman. if somebody is interested here's the link to Internet Own Boy's hope one day we'll be able to revenge people like him who died for something that most of the world don't even understand.
