there might be many user which produces deep house music over here, i just created a deep house track for practice and i need help in producing vocal effects on the vocals like that in many deep house songs.

how to achieve that guys, preferably in FL?

 

Ok, I'll help you out. You need a pitch-shifting plugin that can change the "formant." I'm not sure about FL, but in Logic the stock "vocal transformer" is really easy for doing this. The key is being able to tweak the formant of the vocal for the deep house sound you are looking for. After you have that down, chop up the vocals, add some reverb (I like it really wet),add saturation to bring out the reverb (Vintage warmer, or Sausage fattener are both good for this), and then play around with some delays (I like my delays subtle=just adding some extra movement). Hope that helps. Also, If you are looking for a good vocal sample, for some reason r&b acappelas sound good for deep house. Just find something with a little bit of soul/ emotion.
