So I made a library from a free instrument (Kosmology) using the example.nicnt and my own wallpaper.png. The library opens up and plays...no problem. The issue is there's an "Activate" button on my lib. when I click it it opens up NI Product Activation and wants a serial. How do I get rid of this?

I thought I read somewhere theres a xml file or something.

Anyone know?

EDIT: BTW...I'm on a Mac running legit Komplete 10 w/Kontakt 5.4.1211

 

Library developers have to pay an extra fee to be able to add the lib on the library tab, so I'm assuming that's the reason it won't let you do it. Maybe use Quick Load?

 

i hope there is a way, the way i move around this is i install these libraries in the "Kontakt Library folder" all work without any problems from there, you just dont have the file on its own with wallpaper etc....

 

i think if you're using unlocked versions then you have to add through library and then quit - even if it doesn't have a library file - then restart and then you can use from the files or the library - not unlocked - no clue.

Above my thread, there are stickys on how to make Kontakt Libraries. I haven't read any posts that describe getting an "Authorize" button after making the library....especially using a free .nki. My question is, what is triggering this behavior and is there a workaround.

Yes, I'm familiar with Quick Load and that's where my bastard instruments live. However, I'd like to have them all in the Library tab if possible.

Like a wrote above, the Library works fine, its just that there is an annoying button on my instrument that says "Authorize" and that type of ridiculously minor detail irritates the living shit out of me.

I ran KLM thru WIne on my Mac...It loaded up but I don't know how to get my Kontakt folders over from my normal Mac folders. I'll try to figure it out.
