I have some cool new stuff to share since i dropped sharing on AudioZ.
But don't be sad, it's not audio related stuff.

There's still Codez4Mac as alternative, even if farthead-moderator "nippur" is there,
snipping, cutting, censoring useful comments.

Just wait for msj to be back.
On C4M too many uploaders do it only for the money (also mods).
And a good percentage of cracks shared there (apart from Scene stuff), come straight from msj.

MSJ motto is still pretty actual in Mac warez community imho. *yes*

 

Gonna be honest as a fairly newbie Mac user I only found out about MSJ and Codez from this thread.
Not sure if you get any bonuses for referrals on MSJ but if you do PM your referral link copylefter and I will sign up using that when the site is back up

 

Yep we have the same situation with AudioZ. A lot of competing sites actually have the nerve to charge people to get access to shares while using a lot of content that the scene and our members supply or post. Sometimes they even post our links which means they get taken down faster. It really pisses me off. Bunch of bottom feeders. *no*

I will eventually figure out a solution to a big portion of that problem. Working on a plan already. *yes*

No, msj is a democratic place, no referrals or whatnot
The just registered newbie and the guy around for 10years wit 30k post have same treatment.
If mods have to kick your ass cause you went OT (easy on msj, pretty strict rules but it's ok), it kicks, no matter you're a guru there
If you donate via paypal, you get no "donator" shiny badge to go around showing off. You just sleep well at night

 

Yes, MSJ is great (although I thought the first rule of fight club was…… kidding…

VERY democratic, and thoughtful and on topic posts are accepted, but do not go off the rails there. The shares are well vetted, and you won't find the "noise" you get sometimes at AZ…. So it is a balance… if you want a more open conversation, az can be great, but we all know sometimes the trolls etc that brings about.. Although Catalyst has done a fantastic job cleaning up that crap (shameless asskissing ..).. but seriously he has.

Chachi does a fantastic job over at MSJ/audio… and CL is absolutely right, stay on target there. and it makes for a very neat/coherent/intelligent/sleek experience. Not really the place for newbs asking questions about what a .rar file is etc or how to use a filehoster… but if you watch it for awhile you will learn how it works there.

Hopefully they will be back soon, as it is a great environment, and good people that are willing to help you out if you are courteous, adhere to the rules (READ THEM, for real)… and help others out when you can.

And, on reversing side, don't forget a big part of iLok1 defeat was worked out there. (not to mention PT9 and 10).
Leading to Windows side iLok releases some time later. *yes*

Two of the very few reversers in the world I know of being able to deal with todays dongles and advanced protections used to reside there.
(well, one retired the other not releasing publicly anymore for other -really valid- reasons).
