    Hello everyone!

I'm running in to a problem using ableton 9!

Some of my plugins window are too big, and I can't even see some parts of the plugin cause they gets out of the monitor.

So, I want to know if there is a way to resize plugins windows to make it fit on my monitor?

This is driving me crazy and any help will be appreciated!

The size of the plugin windows can't be changed by live. Some plugins allow differenz sizes, but they are the minority.
You can change the overall screen zoom, maybe that helps.

Sounds like you need to change your screen resolution. I nevere came across a plug in that will not fit the screen normally. Some can take almost entire screen which is annoying still

Yeah it sounds like your screen resolution is messed up.
Ableton also need to hurry up and get VST3 implemented so we can resize our windows!!!

I often have this problem with reaktor.
As you can see in the screenshot I attached, the particular ensemble doesn't fit the plugin window - and this window's size is fixed, even with space left on the monitor.
So the nuisance goes both ways...

    Hi,

AFAIK Reaktor has option to change the windowsize. Have you tried it?

No way to resize plugins in ableton, but I found this trick

    Try this shortcut:

press and hold cmd-alt (ctrl-alt on Windows) and type the following word: slimbro
    Watch what happens...

yes, it's the largest of the three options... ok, auto, large is smaller.
but you're right - it's not fixed, it's just not freely scalable and the largest setting is tiny.

    DON`T DO IT!!!

I tried. Followed the EXACT instructions and now my PC is a constant freeze loop playing the following video over and over and over and over again.

My wife of 19 years says I either get HELP from a professional or she is gonna leave me!

Why would you do this to an innocent seeker of help Woofer Destroyer? I am NO Woofter yet you have Destroyed me.

    WHY!?!

    The constant looping video: SLIMBRO!

    What???

My advice is just a method to have more space on ableton screen.
This is a sequence of shortcuts to close all unwanted panels
