    Hi all, thank you all for contributing to this forum. I've learned a lot and it has very resourceful (especially for a newb like me) Does anyone know where I can get the thunder sound in the introduction of this song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8rBV-STUuI

    I haven't listened to the track because I'm in the middle of some things but if you're looking for quality thunder sounds then this will be right up your alley: Boom Library Thunder and Rain.

    Thanks! I think the sound I'm looking for is more of a "hit or fx" than real thunder.

    99sounds.org has a sample pack of free rain and thunder sounds, but the cinematic impacts sample pack might be closer to what you are looking for. if it's not what you want it's no problem because it's all free! you can even enter their music making contest for a chance to win reason 8 and some other cool stuff

    Hi lilryu You will get that sound from Roland Rhythm Section called Big Gym.It can be used as it is or tuned up or down.Also there are some Ethnic Drums on the same Disc that have can produce the same or similar sound that you are looking for.Have a nice day!!!

    yes lilryu you can get a nice reverb kick from Drum Overkill.But I still think Big Gym from Rhythm section is the one used on the track
