o-clip is a simple cliping plugin with the usual audioD3CK features. Thought there are multiple clipping plugins available none had the features we wanted, so o-clip was born.




available as a VST/AU/AAX plugin for Windows and Mac based host applications (VST3 plugin format is also supported).

A definition of a 'Simple Clipping (or Clipper)' Plugin could be the following :

People often talk about compressors and limiters in terms of dynamic processing, but clippers are actually awesome little tools to control the dynamics. You wouldn’t necessarily use them on lush vocals, of course, but things like bass and drums can sound great with a bit of clipping and this way you can also tame the peaks quite a bit.

Thanks Evo for the explanation. So is it some kind of a compressor? But it would only take of the peaks?
