Not sure if this is the right subforum. But I have a bit of a dilemma.

I'm trying to rip the announcer's voice from NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC for the Nintendo 64 to use in a track. I've downloaded the ROM, because the clips aren't available online in WAV format anywhere, or even isolated in a YouTube video for me to download and convert.

I'm asking if there's any way to get the sound files from this ROM and turn them into WAVs, so I can insert them into this track. I think they'd make great drops.

I would do the first recordings in a Wave Editor, such as WaveLab6.

Edit the file as best as You can in WaveLab.

Any extra "cleaning" of the sound would be best, IMHO, done in the AMAZING iZotope RX Advanced.

Whether this is the best way is up for debate, it is just way I would do it.

there use to be two progs for ripping music from N64 roms, Sound Lib Extractor 0.9 and SRip: N64 Sound Bank Ripper. they were made by a guy called Dextrose. his site isn't up anymore but im sure if you google youll find em somewhere.
