I really have to say that the intro price is certainly compelling this time around and I had to rub my eyes for a second there. Even the non-intro pricing is attractive if someone would buy in a few weeks from now. $89 is sweet for a nice modular like that so don't delay only a couple more weeks left on that deal thanks to it being extended.

 

There is a nice post on KVR where Urs (chief developer) explains why Bazille and ACE are cheaper than Zebra and DIVA.

To summarize:
Altough Bazille and ACE are more difficult to use than Zebra and DIVA, under the hood the coding was simpler and took less time.

Which is an interesting paradox: complex inside = easy outside / complex outside = easy inside.

 

Download the demo and take a look at the "Monsters from the Deep" preset category for starters- those sounds you won't find neither in Ace nor in Modular V.


People just should understand that Bazille is in no way supposed to be a Sylenth/Massive/{Put-another-generic-synth-here} substitute - so every comparison with those synths is pointless.

If this would be my only concern the only VST I need would be Ominsphere - with a bit of work this thing can do anything (combined with my DAWs fxs and stock intruments.)
