This looks fantastic. and the introductory price is just too good to be true.

    no physical ilok needed...
but i imagine there must be some kind of soft-ilok 2, like the one motu is using on their mach 5 v3.

well with their freebie ultra channel plugin it just had to register with the software and your ilok online account, you don't need to have a dingle dangle dongle. I guess this will be the same

Just clearing up the confusion, I own Motu Mach 5 v3 & it uses the physical ilok dongle. I don't think theres such thing as just a "software ilok" as the dongle & software work in synergy with each other.

    Quote:

"Q: How many computers can I activate my license on?
A: Using iLok License Manger, you can activate the license in two separate locations, each of which can be either a computer, or an iLok license key. You can move these licenses between locations at any time using PACE's iLok License Manager software."

"Q: I'm having trouble registering my plug-in, do you have detailed steps for doing so?
A: Sure, first you need to create an account at ilok.com and download their iLok License Manager software. Install it on your computer. Once you do this, you can register your plug-in on eventide.com, which will automatically send a license to your iLok account, and therefore will appear in iLok License Manager. At this point, you can use iLok License Manager to move this license onto your iLok or computer and the plug-in will be authorized and work.
Alternatively, for products that allow computer authorization, after you've installed iLok License Manger and registered the plug-in, you can launch your DAW. Once the DAW scans the installed plug-in it will present a dialog box to install the license on your computer or iLok."

Its not very clear but I imagine its like what SirSillySausage suggests , just need a ilok account + ilok software & can activate the licence onto your computer instead of physical dongle.

Interesting looking reverb for sure, thanks for sharing :)

    Favorite Reverb Plugin

I haven't checked this one out yet but I like Lexicon, NI's RC 24 and RC 48, Valhalla and I'm about to get into B2 and Aether on the algorithmic end. Convolution you could go with AudioEase Altiverb.

Not exactly an 'Algorithmic Reverb', a 'Convolution' one... but it worth to try it !!! *yes*

Nope Amsterdam Pirate, it has to be paid now. And it use keyless iLok2.
They're two different things, iLok with physical dongle and keyless iLok2 protection.
The underlying protection system is pretty much the same, encrypted cant_tut_this bundle + eden and much more.
So its almost as hard as hardware iLok2. Have to say, it's surely less obtrusive, if before I won't buy anything that use iLok,
if i.e. SoundToys will go this way too, I will consider to buy at least EchoBoy

thanks for the info copylefter, i really don't have such a big problem with a physical ilok, i always keep it safe and i can use the software wherever imo...
anyway i would like to buy their native bundle anytime soon since i read when you're an audio student you can get it for way cheaper *yes*
echoboy is nice, but me personally i like decapitator (cliche huh lol) and panman a lot

p.s. you think more software vendors will change to this new keyless system??

Yeah, I hope so, AiR instruments is using that, now Eventide.
If they listen to customers, and they see it not being cracked like physical iLok for some time, maybe they will go that way. I hope.
iLok can be good if you move between different machines, but too many bugs and troubles, also, I have a laptop and I'm already short on USB,
don't know why in the hell I have to sacrifice one or use a hub that can create problems with midi controllers I must put on the same port.

Yeah, Decapitator is very nice too, I can barely find material on which I can use the Punish button without fuckin everything up,
but when I find something that need it, it do its work greatly :headbang:

Check your PM later today, I may have something for you :grooves:

Although I am not a big Fan of Overloud Stuff, RE Matrix is really, really, really great. Haven't tested the Eventide Reverb, but I've got the Ultra-Channel and that's a damn good plugin. The introductory price for Ultraverb is really cheap imho. Especially taking in consideration that Eventide's whole reputation is based around reverb! That means it just can't be bad. But the next thing I want to buy is the Xfer Serum synth first. But I definately gonna check it out.
