Hi folks...

I have a question for you: sometimes when I'm using libraries at the bottom of Kontakt GUI appears messages like this "SCRIPT WARNING: invalid menu value (assignment has no effect)! Line: 3985, Program: 0

What they means?

 

Hmmm .... sure this issiue isn´t on your side alone?

I´ve never experienced anything like this myself ....!

 

I don't know phloopy, but these messages appear frequently

 

Sounds like file corruption, or an installation issue.
You could -- Delete all NI stuff and try to install the application again.

Sometimes things get moved, corrupted or inadvertently deleted -- causing all kinds of troubles
Sometimes, a fresh install is the best medicine (Libraries too)

 

Such messages could be expected when the libs are significantly newer than the Kontakt version you are running them in.

(Since the libs might be referencing parameters which that version of Kontakt doesnt yet know.)


And come to think of it, the same might be true the other way around as well.

(A very old lib in a brandnew Kontakt might trigger such a message if params have been changed/removed/deprecated.)


Could either of this be the case here?

 

My Captain I don't think is that the reason of such mmessages, I am using Kontakt 4.2.3 and messages also appear with libraries working only on Kontakt 4 or higher (i.e. Best Service Galaxy II K4 piano series)
